Deposits
The deposit ensures that you are serious about taking this first step to a good business relationship by making your appointments and completing your piece. Deposits are ALWAYS non-refundable. This is non-negotiable. So, please make sure you are ready to commit to working on and completing a piece before you decide to apply a deposit. This deposit will be used toward your tattoo time, and each day booked requires a $100dp. Large work will be recommended to book two days upfront. If we have completed the project and do not need the second day then the deposit will be used in full on the first appt. It will come off on the day you receive work unless there is a reschedule and it will be held over until then. If you need to reschedule your appointment I ask that you give me as much time as you can by using facebook messenger or emailing me directly to cancel or reschedule. Failure to do so at least 24 hours in advance will cause a forfeiture of your deposit. You may be asked to pay in full for your next appointments if you fail to make appointments. I try very hard to value my client's time - so I ask you to value mine.
Tattoo Requirements
You must be 18 to be tattooed by me. No minors whatsoever. Please bring a picture ID with you to your appointment. Paperwork will be filled out each session per Missouri law.
Pricing
Tattoos range in pricing! That's what consults are for to discuss vision/ details. I generally say a softball-size full-color tattoo takes around 2-3 hours. The time it takes to do your tattoo depends entirely on detail and realism. Tattoos with linework and simple color will take less time than any realism. Black and grey tattoos generally take less time than color. Full-color realism takes the longest. I understand trying to budget for a tattoo, but the tattoo is a commitment. I can try and work with a budget if we discuss it in the consultation, but ultimately the tattoo will take as long as I need to finish it with quality.
I charge $200 per hour of tattoo time. When we start working time has started. I do not observe a day rate but require a minimum of 4 hours on large work unless otherwise discussed to finish a project.
I do not do small tattoos unless you have booked a 4-hour minimum for multiple small tattoos or they are done at the same time with other larger work.
Before Your Appointment
Your session may be short or long please come prepared to be there. Get adequate sleep and eat before your appointment. It is suggested you bring food/drink with you that we can keep in a fridge or in cubbies out front. Or we can order something when u are there. Bring everything to be comfy - blankets/ pillows/ headphones/ ipads/ whatever you like!!
Your kids may be the bee's knees but this is an adult environment. Waldo's Darkside has a strict policy of NO CHILDREN in the shop no matter what! We ask that if you have children, please make other arrangements for them before your appointment.
